I’ve started doing a bit of work at the weekends at a fancy dress costume shop. I have not been doing well with money recently so this is a good way to top up my funds. It has been hard trying to get by on just a student grant and I am very wary of taking on too much debt so I do not want to take out too many student loans.

It has certainly been an interesting experience working in the fancy dress costume shop. It is definitely very different from a normal clothes shop. For instance, last Saturday I spent the whole of the afternoon unpacking and arranging a set of catwoman fancy dress costumes. It was quite fun to take a look at the different styles that were available. I was kind of surprised to see how much thought had been put in to making each costume perfect.
